Sufian Haddo

Sufian is a chartered civil and structural engineer with extensive experience as a building design engineer and project management consultant, both in the UK and overseas. 

He currently leads the structural and civil engineering team at Tesco to deliver large and often complex commercial building projects. Since joining Tesco, he has developed a passion for future-proofing their retail building assets and carparks portfolio to enhance their safety, longevity, and environmental impact.

Prior to joining Tesco, he has worked in Hong Kong and Qatar on projects such as the North Orbital Highway 2 (NOH2) in Doha connecting local roads and existing highways via 8 interchanges with various types of structures including bridges, viaducts, underpasses, carparks and tunnels integrating pedestrian and bicycle paths along the route.

Sufian has participated in the London Build Expo 2023 as an ambassador advocating for diversity in construction and the built environment, and embracing the exciting developments within the past years on this topic.

He is an active member of the British Parking Association (BPA) and passionate about the ongoing collaboration with fellow members and the wider parking community to make a betterment on the UK parking infrastructure."
