John Swift
John is playing a leading role developing Waterman’s nationwide DRIMS (Dynamic Response Intelligent Monitoring System) offering, a road conditions evaluation tool using smartphone technology processed using the latest AI deep learning technologies in road condition monitoring,
Having been in IT for a number of years, often creating business change and enhancements John has been working in roads with innovative technology for the last 15 years.
The advent of AI across differing industries needs to be managed and John sees some similarities with the positive and negative adoption of wi-fi in the late 90s of which John was an early trailblazer.
However Johns view of any innovative technology has never changed, “its all about people, process and progression.”
